Youth Center

The proposed Scotts Valley Youth Center (pictured above) is designed to offer our children organized after school sports activities like basketball, volleyball, and indoor soccer. In addition, the plans include a multi-purpose room for drama practices and performances and a Resource Center where children can gather in a supervised setting to get help with and do their homework after school and learn how to safely access the Internet. The facility will also include an indoor swimming pool if approved.

Children’s Outreach will also provide the children that are in after school care an opportunity to utilize our facility. We plan on providing vans for transporting the children to and from their schools.

The outcome of such a facility will not only be to promote a much needed service to the Scotts Valley Community, but also to reach out to the entire Santa Cruz County area by offering indoor sports and developmental facilities for the growing population of children in our community.
